Sawadi khrap, or in English — welcome to Bambus
We are a restaurant, bar, café, hostel, glamping, dive center and tour desk, situated in the middle of Patong, Phuket.
We claim we have the cosiest restaurant and accommodation in the whole of Patong, and if you don't believe us, please come and see. We will do what we can to give you a good time here, whatever your plans may be.

The history of our restaurant and accommodation
We started building the restaurant in 2021. At that time the name of the restaurant was The Oyster @ Patong.
We did build it from the ground up, and only kept the old toilet building, which we completely refitted.
In 2022, there was a change in the ownership of the restaurant, and in 2023, we changed the name to Bambus. That name means bamboo in Danish, because we use bamboo everywhere in our restaurant, and Danish because it reflects on the part Danish ownership.
Even though we have changed the name and ownership, one thing has always been the same.

In 2023 we started to build our accommodation.
Like our restaurant we did almost everything ourselves with help from a few workers.
It took longer than we expected, because the project kept growing, and we had to start from bare land. From cutting down the trees and cleaning the land, to the sever lines. But in November 2024, could we finally open our hostel & Glamping.
In 2025 we opened 2 private rooms, with ensuite toilet and shovers
We started to believe that it would be a good idea to have more options for our lovely guests, so that's why we in 2025 opened up our dive center and tour desk
It all follows the same idea as the restaurant.
